Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Assemu went through multiple episodes of severe dental pain when he was younger, and, already interested in working in the medical field, these experiences caused him to consider dentistry in particular. All these years later, he’s extremely satisfied with his chosen career, and he says it’s extremely fulfilling to help patients like himself get out of pain and avoid more problems in the future. He also likes that the profession allows him to spend plenty of time with his family.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Assemu began his college career at Tennessee State University, and he eventually earned his dental degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Over the years, he has rigorously pursued continuing education in order to stay on top of the latest techniques and technology in oral healthcare.
